Calling musicians of all ages and abilities!
Whether you’re dusting off that instrument after a few years or picking up something new, Chorleywood Music Day on the 29th September 2019 is the ideal opportunity to come along and play among a friendly group of supportive amateur musicians, lead by our fantastic conductor, Richard Wainwright.
We’re passionate about sharing our enthusiasm for music and look forward to introducing another generation of musicians to all manner of orchestral instruments.

- 12.30pm Orchestra rehearsals incorporating plenty of breaks and opportunities to try the Orchestra’s legendary cakes!

Ever thought about learning a musical instrument but not sure which one or where to start?
Come along to our try out event, we will have instruments for you and your children to play, guided by one of our local talented teenage musicians. Use the time to see how they work, what they sound like and if you can get a sound out of them and ask any questions you like. The event is in Chorleywood with no charge, all we ask is you fill in our form Instrumental Tryouts sign up so that we know you are coming.
Choose from a selection of guitar, violin, cello, flute, recorder, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone and piano
We will give out listings of local instrument teachers and there will be loads of advice available from the many musicians at the event if you or your child are maybe thinking about playing a musical instrument.

All ages welcome. Children need to be accompanied by an adult.
